Malassezia
Género de hongos. M. furfur produce la tiña versicolor (nombre antiguo: Pityrosporum oviculare). M. ovalis es un organismo no patógeno que se localiza en las zonas sebáceas (nombre antiguo: Pityrosporum ovale).
